Palacina The Residence & The Suites

This is a fantastic place for both business and relaxation. I absolutely loved the ambiance and overall atmosphere of the establishment. The staff were not only friendly but also highly professional, making my stay even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional, always freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the interior design was exquisite, adding a touch of elegance to the entire experience. Whether you're looking to get some work done or simply unwind, this place offers the perfect environment for both.

We had the penthouse suite (#25), a 2-bedroom apartment with ensuite bathrooms, a large living room and dining room and a kitchen (fully equipped). The bedrooms are amazing! The master bedroom is huge with a living area, ensuite closet and bathroom and the decoration is very nice. The second bedroom is also quite large (2 single beds with their own mosquito net). The apartment is just awesome! We had drinks at the bar with some food for the kids - excellent service! We also used the indoor poor - really good for laps. The breakfast is great - large choice in a boutique hotel style and excellent service. The hotel is not too far from the airport and in the State House vicinity which makes it extra safe to walk the streets around the hotel. There is a pharmacy, a small grocery shop and a restaurant very near (5 minutes walk at most). And there is a piano which can be used by the guests (might not be #1 selling point!). Overall it is really a great place to stay for families (I would also come back without children), the staff the awesome and we stayed when we arrived in Nairobi and before leaving and we do not regret it!!!

The entire staff from the General Manager (Andrea) and throughout the hotel is exceptional. They're friendly, welcoming and always keen to ensure guests' comfort and satisfaction. The facilities, including the indoor pool, and the laundry are first class. Food has been delicious and the rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel is located on a cul-de-sac, in a leafy area, isolated from the noise and traffic of Nairobi.

Peaceful, green, quiet.A welcome refuge from the bustle of the CBD. Lovely gardens and veranda. Three tortoises and a nice cat belong to the hotel, and a pair of hornbills came into the garden every day. We enjoyed sipping a glass of wine in the evening on the veranda, even when it was raining - very romantic.

We were there to visit friends and be in this area. It was perfect for what we wanted. I’ve been to palacina before, it is a great place. We had a studio full kitchen. We do not want ac. I find if you have AC then it is very hard to go outside into the heat. Palacina also will arrange a driver and private tour to anywhere you want to go.
